prāptiviniścayo nāma caturthaḥ samuccayaḥ



prāptiviniścayo'dhigantṛpudgalavyavasthānato'dhigamavyavasthānataśca draṣṭavyaḥ ||



asatyapi pudgaladravye pudgalavyavasthānaṃ caturbhiḥ kāraṇaiḥ | tadyathā sukhasaṃvyavahārārtham , rūpādīnāṃ bahūnāṃ bahudhābhinnalakṣaṇasaṃjñānāmekayā sāmudāyikyā sattvaprajñaptyā'kṛcchreṇa ehi yāhi ityeva mādi saṃvyavaharaṇāt | lokānuvṛttyartham, na hi loke dharmamātrasaṃjñābhiḥ sarvaḥ saṃvyavahāro nirūḍhaḥ kiṃtarhi prāyeṇa sattvasaṃjñayā | tasmāllokena saha saṃvyavaharadbhirāryairavaśyaṃ so'nuvartitavya iti | anutrāsārtham, pratītyasamutpādadharmatāyāma kovidāḥ sahasāditaḥ sarvathā sattvābhāvaṃ śrutvottrasyeyuriti | ātmanaḥ pareṣāṃ ca doṣavattvaguṇavattvodbhāvanārtha ca, itarathā hi sattvaprajñaptimantareṇa saṃkleśavyavadānalakṣaṇamātradeśanāyāṃ satyāmamuṣmin saṃtāne'mī doṣāḥ prahīṇā amī vā guṇā utpannā iti na śakyate vijñātumiti ||



pudgalavyavasthānaṃ punaścaritādiprabhedena saptavidham ||



tatra rāgādi caritastīvrāyatarāgaḥ, hone'pi rañjanīye vastunyadhimātrarāgotpādādutpannasya ca ciramanubandhāt | ityevaṃ yāvadvitarkacarito yathāsvaṃ vastuni yojayitavyaḥ | samabhāga caritaḥprakṛti[stha]ḥ saṃkleśaḥ autkaṭayamāndyavivarjitasamāva sthe kleśa ityarthaḥ, yathāvastvanurūpaṃ kleśasamudācārāt | mandarajaskaḥ prakṛtisthaḥ tanutarakleśaḥ, prakṛtisthebhya uktalakṣaṇebhyastanutarāḥ kleśā asya, so'yaṃ prakṛtisthaḥ, utkaṭe'pi vastuni pūrvapratipakṣābhyāsavaśena prakṛtyā mṛdukleśasamudācārāditi ||



śrāvakayāniko gotrendriyapraṇidhānāśayālaṃvanapratipattiphalaprabhedairnidiṣṭo veditavyaḥ | prakṛtyā mṛdvindriyatvaṃ punarasya pratyekabuddhabodhisattvendriyā pekṣayā, itarathā hi dharmānusāryādayastīkṣṇendriyā ityetadvirudhyeta |

tatrānutpāditapūrvanirvedhabhāgīyo'prāptapūrvakaphalaśca khaḍgaviṣāṇakalpo bhavatyeka vihārī, tadanyaḥ pratyekajino vargacārī draṣṭavyaḥ | vyākaraṇaṃ ca pratyalabhata ityaṣṭābhyāṃ bhūmāvanutpattikeṣu dharmeṣu kṣāntiṃ pratilabhata ityarthaḥ ||



asaṃbhṛtasaṃbhārādayo mokṣabhāgīyānāṃ ca mṛdumadhyādhi mātratayā nirvedhabhāgīyotpādanaṃ satyābhisamayaṃ ca pratiniyatāniyata tajjanmakālikatvādyathākramaṃ veditavyāḥ | tatra satyādhipateye dharme'dhimuktiprasādalakṣaṇāni mokṣabhāgīyāni, tatraiva dharmanidhyānakṣāntilakṣaṇāni nirvedhabhāgīyāni, śraddhāpradhānatvātprajñāpradhānatvācca yathākramam | laukikā gradharmaprakṛtyaiva kṣaṇika ityaprāvandhika ityarthaḥ | no tu vāsanāparihāṇita iti nirvāṇādhikārikasya kuśalamūlasyotpāditapūrvasyāpunarutpādyatvāt ||



mṛdu mokṣabhāgī yamadhikṛtyoktaṃ bhagavatā -

samyagdṛṣṭiradhimātraṃ laukikī yasya vidyate |

api jātisahastrāṇi nāsau gacchati durgatim ||iti ||



api khalu caturvidhaṃ mokṣabhāgīyam - ādhikārikamādhimokṣikamādhikāmikamābhigāmikaṃ ca | kuśala dharmacchanda mupādāya yāvanmokṣārtha kriyate tadādhikārikam | tatpratisaṃyukta deśanādhimokṣasahagataṃ yattadādhimokṣikam | prītiprasādasahagatamokṣālaṃbanamanaskārabahulaṃ yattadādhikāmikam | nirvedhabhāyīyotpāda niyataṃ tatraiva janmani yattadābhigāmikam ||



nirvedhamāgīyaṃ ṣaḍvidham - ānulomikaṃ prākarṣikaṃ prātivedhikamanyapāriṇāmikamaikajanmikamekāsanikaṃ ca | tatra yatsatyā lambanakāramādito mṛdukaṃ kuśalamūlamutpadyate tadānulomikam | yanmadhyaṃ tatprākarṣikam, tataḥ tatprakṛṣṭataratvāt | yadadhimātraṃ satyaprativedhāya tatraiva janmani saṃvartate tatprātivedhikam | tatpunaryadani yatagotrāṇāṃ bodhiviśeṣāya pariṇāmyate tacca pratyekabuddhānāmanācāryakābhisaṃbodhāya janmāntare pariṇamati tadanyapāriṇāmikam | yattatraiva janmani satyaprativedhāya saṃvartate tadaikajanmikam | yattatraivāsane tadekāsanikamiti ||



kāyasākṣī vimokṣa lābhyanāgāmī, aṣṭau vimokṣān kāyena sākṣātkṛtvopasaṃpadya viharaṇāt | aṣṭau vimokṣā rūpī rūpāṇi paśyatītyevamādayaḥ paścānnirdekṣyante | prajñāvimuktaḥ prajñāvipakṣakleśāvaraṇamātrāśeṣaprahāṇāt | ubhayato bhāgavimuktaḥ sarvakleśasamāpattyāvaraṇābhyāṃ yo vimuktaḥ | strotāpattiphalapratipannaka ekāsanikaṃ ni rvedhabhāgīyamārabhya yāvadādyaṃ phalaṃ na prāpnoti ||



kaḥ punardarśanamārgāvasāne ādyaṃ phalaṃ prāpnoti | yaḥ pradeśavairāgyeṇāpi kāmebhyo'vīta rāgaḥ samyaktvaṃ niyāmamavakrāmati | yastu pūrva laukikena mārgeṇa kāmāvacarān bhāvanāprahātavyān ṣaṭprakārān prahāya yatra yo vītarāgo bhavan paścātsamyaktvaṃ niyāmama vakrāmati sa ṣoḍaśe cittakṣaṇe sakṛdāgāmyeva bhavati | navāpi prakārān prahāya kāmavītarāgo bhavan yo niyāmamavakrāmati so'nāgāmyeva bhavati ||



sarvadarśanaprahātavyaprahāṇe'pi trayāṇāmeva saṃyojanānāṃ prahāṇāt strotāpanna vacanam, eṣāṃ mokṣaprāptibibandhanatvena prādhānyāt | tathāhi satkāyadṛṣṭayā pañcopādānaskandhānātmata ātmīyataścābhiniveśyālayārāmatayā duḥkhānnoccalati | uccalito'pi kathaṃcinmokṣaṃ prati śīlavrataparāmarśena vicikitsayā cāsanmārgābhiniveśātsanmārgasaṃśayanācca mithyā niryāti samyaktvamaniryāti || punaḥ satkāyadṛṣṭayā jñeye vipratipadyate, duḥkhamātra [ā]tmātmīyalakṣaṇa samāropaṇāt | śīlavrataparāmarśena dṛṣṭau, tayā śuddhipratyayanāt | vicikitsayā pratipakṣe, ratnatrayāniścayanāditi ||



sakṛdā[gā]miphalapratipannakaḥ darśanamārgādūrdhva kāmāvacarasya yāvanmadhyamadhyasya kleśaprakārasya prahāṇamārge yaḥ pudgalaḥ | sakṛdāgāmī madhyamṛdoḥ kleśaprakārasya prahāṇa mārga parisamāptau yaḥ pudgalaḥ | anāgāmi phalapratipannakaḥ sakṛdāgāmiphalādūrdhva kāmāvacarāṇāṃ mṛdvadhimātra mṛdumadhyayoḥ kleśaprakārayoḥ prahāṇamārge yaḥ pudgalaḥ | anāgāmī navamasya mṛdumṛdoḥ kleśaprakārasya prahāṇāya mārgaparisamāptau yaḥ pudgalaḥ ||



sarvakāmāvacarabhāvanāprahātavyaprahāṇe'pi pañcānāmavarabhāgīyānāṃ saṃyojanānāṃ prahāṇādanāgāmivacanaṃ sūtre eṣāṃ gatidhātvavarakāraṇatvena prādhānyāt | gatyavaraṃ punaḥ narakatiryakpretagatayaḥ | dhātvavaraṃ kāmadhātuḥ | tatra satkāyadṛṣṭiśīlavrataparāmarśavicikitsābhiḥ gatya varāsamatikrāntatvātkāraṇatvam | kāmacchandavyāpādābhyāṃ dhātvavarāsamatikramāditi ||



traidhātukasarvakleśaprahāṇe'pi pañcānāmūrdhvabhāgīyānāṃ prahāṇādarhadvacanam, ūrdhvopādānāparityāgakāraṇatvena prādhānyam | tatra rūpārūpyarāgābhyāṃ kāmadhātau ūrdhvopādānaṃ rūpārūpyadhātūpapattirityarthaḥ | auddhatyamānāvidyābhirurdhvāparityāgaḥ, tṛṣṇāmānavicikitsottaradhyāyitvena satra saṃkleśāditi ||



kulaṃ kulaḥ kulaḥ stro tāpanna eva sakṛdāgāmiphala pratipannako deveṣu vā manuṣyeṣu vā niyamena dvau bhavau saṃsṛtya parinirvāti | ekavīcikaḥ sakṛdāgāmyevānāgāmiphalapratipannako deveṣvevaikaṃ bhavaṃ saṃsṛtyaṃ parinirvāti | ekā vīcirantaraṃ janmāvakāśo'sya so'yamekavīcikaḥ | antarāparinirvāyī yena kleśāvedhenopapattideśaṃ gatvā pratisandadhyāttatparikṣaye sati yenānuśayamātreṇa maraṇādūrdhva skandhānabhinirvartayan tadavaśeṣe satyantarābhavamabhinirvartya pūrvābhyastamārgasaṃmukhībhāvādeva sa viśiṣṭānuśaya prahāṇe parinirvāti | sa punarupapattideśaṃ pratyanuccalito ccalitamātradūragabhāvasthatayā tri vidho veditavyaḥ satpuruṣagatisūtrānusāreṇa | anabhisaṃskāreṇa yo mārga saṃmukhīkṛtyeti pūrva svabhyastatvātsvarasavāhitayā'prayatne[ne]tyarthaḥ | viparyayādabhisaṃskāraparinirvāyī | ūrdhvastrotā dvividhaḥ - akaniṣṭhago bhavāgragaśca | tatra akaniṣṭhaga āsvādanābahulatayotpannotpannamṛdvādidhyānaprakārāsvādanāt brahmakāyikānārabhya nirantaraṃ sarveṣu sthānāntareṣu sakṛtsakṛdupapadyamāno yāvadakaniṣṭhānpraviśya parinirvāti | bhavāgragaścaturthasya dhyānasyāvyavakīrṇabhāvitvāt kevalaṃ śuddhāvāsān parihṛtya tathaiva yāvadbhavāgra gatvā parinirvāti | vyavakīrṇabhāvitasya caturthasya dhyānasya mṛdvādipañcaprakārabhāvitatvā dyathākramaṃ pañcasu śuddhāvāseṣūpapattirveditavyā | cetayitvā'cetayitveti svayamātmānamupakramamāṇo'nu[pa]kramamāṇo vetyarthaḥ | dṛṣṭadharmasukhavihārātparihāṇameti laukikebhyo dhyānebhya ityarthaḥ | indriyottāpanaṃ punaradhimātratānayanaṃ tīkṣṇakaraṇamityarthaḥ | ata evākopyadharmā bhavyaścendriyāṇyuttāpayitumiti noktam, prakṛtyā tīkṣṇendriyatvāt ||



kāmāvacararūpāvacara eva bodhisattvo nārūpyā vacaraḥ, prabhāvaprāptasya sattvaparipācanānāyatanatāmupādāya tatrānupapattitaḥ | ārūpya dhātuvyavakarṣitena dhyāneneti paryudastārūpyopapattikena samādhinetyarthaḥ | dhyānasukhaviharatyaparihīṇa eva dhyānebhyaḥ, dhyānavyāvartanakuśalatvāt | sattvaparipācanārtha kāmadhātāvapi bodhisattva upapadyata iti veditavyam ||



sarvā bodhisattvacaryāmiti tuṣitabhavanavāsamupādāya yāvanmāraparājayam | buddhacaryā ca darśayatī tyabhisaṃbodhimupādāya yāvanmahāparinirvāṇam ||



adhimukticārī bodhisattvagotre vyavasthita ādito mahābodhiprasthānamupādāya yāvatpramuditāṃ bhūmiṃ na praviśati, pratyātmaṃ lokottarābhigamā bhāvāt | adhyāśayacāro daśasu bhūmiṣu, lokottareṇādhigamena viśuddhāśaya tvāt | nimittacārī ṣaṭsu bhūmiṣu, anicchato'pi nimittavyavakiraṇāt | animittacārī saptamyām, yatnaṃ kurvato yāvadicchaṃ nimittāsamudācārāt | anabhisaṃskāracārī śeṣāsu bhūmisu, vaipākikanirvikalpajñānapratilambhāditi ||



sakṛnnairyāṇikaḥ sakṛttraidhātukāvacarānkleśān prajahāti | prakāraśa ityadhimātrādhimātrānkāmarūpārūpyāvacarānbhāvanāprahātavyānanuśayān prajahāti, evaṃ yāvan mṛdumṛdūn darśanaprahātavyān na tu laukikamārgavadbhūmiprakārabhedena pṛthakpṛthagityarthaḥ | tatredaṃ jñāpakaṃ yathoktamaṃgulyagrasūtre - " yatkiṃcidrūpaṃ yāvadvijñānamatītānāgatapratyutpannamiti vistareṇa yāvaddūre yadvā'ntike tatsarvamekadhyamasaṃkṣipyakaṃ bhāgaṃ karotyekaṃ piṇḍamekaṃ puñjamekaṃ rāśiṃ karotyekaṃ kṛtvā'taḥ pratisaṃśikṣate sarvametadanityaṃ sarva duḥkhamiti vistaraḥ | dvayorevādyantayoḥ phalayoḥ prajñāpyate | tayostraidhātukasarvadarśanabhāvanāprahātavyāśeṣaprahāṇaprabhāvitatvādyathākramam | madhyayostu na prajñāpyate, tayordṛṣṭasatyasya kāmavacarāṇāmeva bhāvanā prahātavyānāṃ sāvaśeṣaniravaśeṣaprahāṇaprabhāvitatvāt | sakṛnnairyāṇikaṃ cādhikṛtya vibhaṅgasūtre strotāpannānantaramarhadvyavasthānaṃ veditavyam | sa dṛṣṭe dharme yadyājñāṃ tārāgayati sarvato niḥśeṣamavītarāgatvātpraṇidhānavaśena kāmadhātāvupapadyate kṣipraparinirvāṇārtham ||



abhisamayavyavasthānaṃ daśavidham | tatra dharmābhisamayaḥ satyādhipateyeṣu sūtrādiṣu dharmeṣu paratoghoṣamadhipatiṃ kṛtvā dhimātrasyādhimuktiprasādasya paścimamokṣabhāgīyasaṃgṛhītasya pratilambhaḥ | tathāhi tadadhimuktiprasādapratilambhāttāni satyāni dharmābhisamayenābhisamitānītyucyante | arthābhisamayasteṣveva dharmeṣu yoniśomanaskāra madhipatikṛtvā'dhimātrāyāḥ satyeṣu dharmanidhyānakṣānte [:] paścimanirvedhabhāgīya saṃgṛhī[tā]yāḥ pratilambhaḥ | sā punardharmanidhyānakṣāntistrividhena yoniśomanaskāreṇa prabhāvitā adhimātramṛdunā tajjanmakāleṣūṣmagateṣu, adhi mātramadhyena mūrdhvasu kṣāntiṣu ca, adhimātrādhimātreṇa laukikeṣvagradharmeṣviti | tattvābhisamayo darśanamārgaḥ | tatra punaḥ satyavyavasthāpanānyabhisamayāntikāni saṃvṛtijñānāni pratilambhato lokottarajñānādhipatyena tadabījapoṣaṇānna tu sammukhīkaroti ṣoḍaśānāṃ darśanamārgacittakṣaṇānāṃ nirantaratvena laukikacittānavakāśāt | pṛṣṭhābhisamayo darśanamārgādūrdhvasarvabhāvanāmārgo laukiko lokottaro vā | ratnābhisamayaḥ samyaksaṃbuddho vata bhagavān, svākhyāto'sya dharmavinayaḥ, supratipannaḥ śrāvakasaṃgha ityevamavetya niścityāryaśrāvakasya buddhādiṣu prasādaḥ | asamudācārābhisamayo yasyākaraṇasaṃvarasyāyaṃkāntaśīla saṃgṛhītasya lābhāttadvipakṣanarakādyasamudācāraṃ pratyevaṃ niścayaḥ pravarttate kṣoṇā me narakāḥ ityevamādiḥ so'samudācārābhisamayaḥ | niṣṭhābhisamayaḥ sarvadauṣṭhulyānāṃ pratiprastrabdhirityevamādiryathā mārgasatye niṣṭhāmārgo nirdiṣṭaḥ | eta eva saptābhisamayāḥ śrāvakāṇāṃ paratoghoṣamāgamya pratilambhataḥ śrāvakābhisamaya ityucyate | paratoghoṣamanāgamya pratilambhataḥ pratyeka[buddha]bhisamaya iti | bodhisattvābhisamaya eṣu saptasvabhisamayeṣu bodhisattvasya yā samudāgamakṣāntiḥ śrāvakapratyekabuddhavinayo pāyakauśalyārtha no tu sākṣātkriyā sattvāpekṣayā hīnayānāniryāṇāt | apikhalu tatprathamato bodhisattvasya bhūmipraveśā'bhisamaya ityucyate ||



etaṃ cābhisamaya niśrityocyate - śrāvakābhisamayādbodhisattvābhisamasya kaḥ prativiśeṣaḥ ālaṃbanaviśeṣato vaipulyālaṃvanatvāt | upastambhaviśeṣataḥ paripūrṇamahākalpāsakhyeyamahā puṇyajñānasaṃbhāraparipūraṇāt | prativedhaviśeṣataḥ pudgaladharmanairātmyādhipateyadharmaprayogavedhato lokottareṇa jñānena tadubhayaprativedhāt abhyupagamaviśeṣataḥ svātmasamatayā sarvasattvā bhyupagamāt | niryāṇaviśeṣato daśabhirbhūmibhirniryāṇāt | parigraha viśeṣato'pratiṣṭhitanirvāṇaparigrahaṇā t || pratiṣṭhāparivāraviśeṣato buddhakṣatrapariśīdhanādvineyajanopagrahaṇācca | abhijanmaviśeṣataḥ pitṛvaṃśasaṃdhārakaurasaputralakṣaṇatvāt | janmaviśeṣataḥ pariṣanmaṇḍaleṣūpapannaḥ | phalaviśeṣaśca punaḥ [āśraya] parivṛttiviśeṣataḥ kliṣṭākliṣṭasarvaprakāra dauṣṭhulyaprahāṇātsarvaniruttaraguṇāśrayatvenāśrayaparivartanāt | guṇasamṛddhiviśeṣato balavaṃśāradyāveṇikabuddhadharmādyaparimitaguṇaniṣpatteḥ | pañcākāraviśeṣato viśuddhayādiviśeṣāt | tatra viśuddhiviśeṣaḥ savāsanakleśa prahāṇāt | pariśuddhiviśeṣo buddhakṣetrapariśodhanāt | kāyaviśeṣo dharma kāyapariniṣpādanāt | bhogaviśeṣaḥ sadā bodhisattveḥ saha parṣanmaṇḍaleṣu vicitradharmasaṃbhogāt | kamaviśeṣo yathārha nirmāṇeḥ samantā danantāparyanteṣu lokadhātuṣu buddhakṛtyānuṣṭhānāditi | kāyatrayaviśeṣataḥ svabhāvikasāmbhāgikanairmāṇikāyapariniṣpattilābhāt | nirvāṇaviśeṣato nirupadhiśeṣe nirvāṇadhātau sarvasattvahitāya sarvaguṇāsamucchedāt | miśropamiśrajñānaśaktilābhaviśeṣataḥ suviśuddhadharmadhātvekarasatayā tadāśritāsu sarvākāravarajñatāsu pratyekaṃ sarvabuddhānāṃ sāmarthyāt | āvaraṇaviśuddhiviśeṣataḥ sarvakleśajñeyāvaraṇaprahāṇāt | miśropamiśrakarmakriyāviśeṣata ekaikasattvavinayanaṃ prati sarvabuddhādhipatyāt | abhisaṃbodhinirvāṇasaṃdarśanopāyaviśeṣato daśasu dikṣu yathāyogaṃ sarvalokadhātuṣu yāvadaparāntaṃ punaḥpunarbuddhotpādādi saṃdarśanena sarvavineyajanaparipācanavimocanāt | pañcākāraparitrāṇaviśeṣataśca veditavya upadravādiparitrāṇāt | tatra upadravaparitrāṇaṃ nagarapraveśādibhi randhādīnāṃ cakṣurādipratilambhāt | anupāyaparitrāṇaṃ laukika samyagdṛṣṭipratilambhena sarvakudṛṣṭivivecanāt | apāyaparitrāṇaṃ darśanamārgotpādanena durgatisamatikramaṇāt satkāyaparitrāṇamarhattvasākṣātka raṇena traidhātukavi mokṣāṇāt | yāna paritrāṇaṃ bodhisattvānāṃ hīnayāna vicchandanāditi ||



vaiśaṃṣikaguṇā āryaśrāvakairbhāvanāmārge vā'bhinirhriyante'śaikṣamārge vetyata eṣāṃ pṛṣṭhaniṣṭhābhisamayābhyāṃ saṃgraho veditavyaḥ | te punarmaitryādayo yathā sūtrāntareṣu nirdiṣṭāḥ śrāvakayāne mahāyāne ca tathaiva veditavyāḥ | teṣāṃ cāya samāsena pañcabhirākārairyathāyogaṃ lakṣaṇanirdeśo veditavyaḥ - niśrayata ālaṃbanata ākārataḥ svabhāvataḥ sahāyataśca ||



tatra tāvat maitryā dhyānaṃ niśrayaḥ, sattvā ālaṃbanam, sukhena saṃprayujyerannityākāraḥ, samādhiḥ prajñā ca svabhāvaḥ śamathavipaśyanāsaṃgṛhītatvātsarvaguṇānām, cittacaitasikāḥ sahāyā ityevaṃ karuṇādiṣu yathāyogaṃ yojayitavyam | upekṣayā sukhādiṣu sattveṣvanunayādyabhyupekṣaṇamaho vata saṃkleśādvimucyerannityayamākāro veditavyaḥ | sa ca hitāśayavihāra ityucyate ||



aṣṭau vimokṣāḥ | rūpī rūpāṇi paśyatyayaṃ prathamo vimokṣa iti vistaraḥ | tatra kathaṃ rūpī tyucyate | svātmanyā rūpyasamāpattisaṃniśrayeṇa rūpasaṃjñāyā abhibhāvanādrūpasaṃjñāsaṃniveśanādvā draṣṭavyāni rūpasaṃjñāsaṃmukhī karaṇādityarthaḥ | kathaṃ rūpāṇi paśyatītyucyate | suvarṇadurvarṇādīni rūpāṇyadhimucyadarśanāt | kathaṃ vimokṣa ityucyate | vimucyate'nena nirmāṇāvaraṇāditi kṛtvā | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñārūpya samāpattisaṃniśrayeṇa draṣṭari svātmani rūpasaṃjñāvibhāvanādarūpasaṃjñāsaṃniveśanādvādraṣṭari nāmasaṃjñāsaṃmukhīkaraṇādityarthaḥ | śeṣaṃ pūrvavat | śubhaṃ vimokṣaṃ kāyena sākṣātkṛtvopasaṃpadya viharata, śubhāśubheṣu rūpeṣvanyonyāpekṣāsaṃjñāmanyonyānugamasaṃjñāṃ ca niśrityā [nyo]nyaikarasasaṃjñālābhāt || tathāhi śubhā ni rūpāṇyapekṣya tadanyeṣvaśubhānīti bhavatyaśubhāni vāpekṣya śubhānīti nānapekṣyaikajātīyānāmeva darśane śubhāśubhatābuddhyabhāvāt | tathāhi śubheṣvapyaśūbhatānugatā'śubheṣvapi śubhatā, śubhasaṃmatasyāpi tvaṅmātrasya keśādiṣaṭtriśadaśucidravyāntara bhāvādityevamanyonyaṃ sarvarūpāṇi miśrayitvā śubha taikarasākā rayā saṃjñayā vimucyate | tasyaivaṃ rūpādivi mokṣavibhu tvalābhinaḥ śubhāśubhanirmāṇāvaraṇaṃ ca prahīyate tatra ca saṃkleśo tpattyāvaraṇam | kaḥ punarnirmāṇe saṃkleśaḥ | śubharūpanirmāṇe ā bhogaḥ, aśubharūpanirmāṇe prāti kūlyamiti | ākāśānantyāyatanādīni catvāryāryaśrāvakasya yānyanā śravānukūlāni śuddhāni tāni vimokṣakākhyāṃ labhante, tadāsvādanavimokṣaṇāt | ye te śāntā vimokṣā atikramya rūpāṇyārūpyāsteṣva saktiḥ pariśuddhiḥ | tasyā āvaraṇamārūpyāsvādanamiti | saṃjñāvedayitanirodhasya niśrayo naivasaṃjñānā saṃjñāyatanam, ālaṃbanākārasahāyā na santi cittacaitasikānāmabhāvāt | svabhāvastasya cittacaitasikānāṃ nirodhaḥ | sa ca mokṣānusadṛśo vihāraḥ, lokottareṇa mārgeṇa parivṛtyāśrayasyāryaśrāvakasya punaścitacaitasikānāmapyapravṛttyavasthāyāḥ paramaśāntatvāt kliṣṭamano'samudācārācca | ete cāṣṭau vimokṣā vihārā ityucyante, ebhirāryāṇāṃ viharaṇāt | tatrāpi bahulamābhyāṃ vimokṣābhyāṃ viharanti, tṛtīyenāṣṭamena ca pradhānatvāt | ata eva cānayoḥ kāyena sākṣātkṛtyopasaṃpadya viharatīti vacanaṃ nānyeṣu rūpyarūpivimokṣāvaraṇāśeṣaprahāṇādyathākramam | tayoḥ saṃpūrṇāśrayaparivṛttisākṣātkaraṇamupādāyetyaparaḥ paryāyaḥ ||



aṣṭāvabhibhvāyatanāni tatra adhyātmaṃ rūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati parīttāni suvarṇadurvarṇāni hīnapraṇī tāni, tāni khalu rūpāṇyabhibhūya jānātyabhibhūya paśyati tathā ca saṃjñī bhavati | idaṃ prathamamabhibhvāyatanam | adhyātmaṃ rūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatyadhimātrāṇi suvarṇadurvarṇāni vistareṇa yāvattayā ca saṃjñī bhavati | idaṃ dvitīyamabhibhvāyatanam | ityete dve abhibhvāyatane rūpī rūpāṇi paśyatītyetasmādvimokṣādabhinirhriyete | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati parīttāni vistareṇa yāvattathāsaṃjñī ca bhavati | idaṃ tṛtīyamabhibhvāyatanam | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatyadhimātrāṇi yathā tathāsaṃjñī ca bhavati | idaṃ caturthamabhibhvāyatanam | ityete dve abhibhvāyatane adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatītyeta smādvimokṣādabhinirhriyete | evaṃ kṛtvā dvābhyāṃ vimokṣābhyāṃ catvāryabhibhvāyatanāni veditavyāni | adhyātma[ma]rūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati nīlāni nīlavarṇāni nīlanidarśanāni nīlanirbhāsāni | tadyathā umakāpuṣpaṃ saṃpannaṃ vā vārāṇasīyakaṃ vastraṃ nīlaṃ nīlavarṇa nīlanidarśanaṃ nīlanirbhāsamevamevādhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati nīlāni yāvannī lanirbhāsāni tāni khalu rūpāṇyabhibhūya jānātyābhibhūya paśyati tathāsaṃjñī ca bhavati | idaṃ pañcamamabhibhvāyatanam | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati pītāni yāvatpītanirbhāsāni | tadyathā karṇikārapuṣpaṃ saṃpannaṃ vā vārāṇasīyakaṃ vastraṃ pītaṃ pītavarṇamiti vistaraḥ | idaṃ ṣaṣṭhamabhibhvāyatanam | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyati lohitāni yāvallohitanirbhāsāni | tadyathā vandhujīvaka puṣpaṃ saṃpannaṃ vā vārāṇasīyaṃ vastraṃ lohitaṃ lohita[varṇa]miti vistaraḥ | idaṃ saptamamabhibhvāyatanam | adhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatyavadā tānyavadātavarṇā nyavadātanidarśanānyavadātanirbhāsāni | tadyathā uṣasi tārakāyā varṇa saṃpanna vā vārāṇasīyakaṃ vastramavadātamavadāta varṇamavadātanidarśanamavadātanirbhāsamevamevādhyātmamarūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatya vadātānyavadātavarṇānyavadātanidarśanānyavadātanirbhāsāni tāni khalu rūpāṇyabhibhūya jānātyabhibhūya paśyati tathāsaṃjñī ca bhavati | idamaṣṭamamabhibhvāya tanam | etāni catvāri śubhaṃ vimokṣaṃ kāyena sākṣātkṛtvopasaṃpadya viharatītyetasmā dvimokṣādabhinirhriyate ||



tatra vimokṣairālaṃbanamadhimucyate parīttādikam, abhibhvāyatanaistvabhibhavati, tadantardhā nādyatheṣṭaṃ vā karaṇādvaśavartamānatāmupādāya | tatra parīttāni rūpāṇi sattvasaṃkhyātānyalpapramāṇatvāt | adhimātrāṇyasattvasaṃkhyātāni gṛhavimānaparvatādīni mahāpramāṇatvāt | suvarṇadurvarṇāni śubhāśubhavarṇasaṃgṛhītāni | hīnapraṇītāni mānuṣyakadivyāni yathākramam | tāni khalu rūpāṇyabhibhūye ti vaśe vartayitvā | jānātīti śamathamārgeṇa | paśyatīti vipaśyanāmārgeṇa | tathāsaṃjñī ca bhavatītyabhibhūte nābhi bhūte vā tannirabhimānasaṃjñitāmupādāya | nīlānītyuddeśapadam | nīlavarṇāni sahajāṃ nīlatāmupādāya | nīlanidarśanāni saṃyoganīlatāmupādāya | nīlanirbhāsāni tadubhayoḥ prabhānirmokṣabhāsvaratāmupādāya | yathā nīlānyevaṃ pītalohitāvadātāni vistareṇa veditavyāni | dṛṣṭāntadvayaṃ caikaikasmin sahajasāṃyogikavarṇodbhāvanatāmupādāya | aparaḥ paryāyasta dyathā nīlamiti puṣpavastrayoḥ samānamuddeśapadam | nīlavarṇamiti puṣpamevādhikṛtya, tasya sāṃyogikanīlatvasaṃbhavāt | nīlanirbhāsamityucyate puṣpavastre adhikṛtya, dvayorapi bhāsvaratvasaṃbhavāt | ityevaṃ kṛtvā dṛṣṭānte'pi tadyathomakāpuṣpaṃ saṃpannaṃ vā vārāṇasīyakaṃ vastraṃ nīlaṃ nīlavarṇamityevamādinirdeśa upapanno bhavati | evaṃ pītādikaṃ yojayitavyam | śiṣṭaṃ yathādhimokṣeṣu | kiṃ śiṣṭam | adhyātmaṃ rūpasaṃjñī bahirdhā rūpāṇi paśyatītye vamādi | tatpunaryathā rūpī rūpāṇi paśyatītyevamādi nirdeśānusāreṇa draṣṭavyam ||



evamabhibhvāyata nairālaṃvanaṃ vaśe vartayitvā kṛtsnāyatanaiḥ kṛtsnaṃ spharati samantānantā paryantaṃ vistārayatītyarthaḥ | tāni punaḥ kṛtsnāyatanāni daśa bhavanti | tadyathā pṛthivīkṛtsnamapkṛtsnaṃ tejaḥkṛtsnaṃ vāyukṛtsnaṃ pītakṛtsnaṃ lohitakṛtsnamavadātakṛtsnamākāśānantyāyatanakṛtsnaṃ vijñānānantyāyatana kṛtsnaṃ ca | kṛtsnāyataneṣu pṛthivyādīni yadi na vyavasthāpyeran tenāśrayamahābhūtairvinā tadupādāyarūpaṃ nīlādiakaṃ spharituṃ na śakyeta | tasyāśrayasya rūpasya spharaṇasamṛddhimupādāyaiṣāṃ kṛtsneṣu vyavasthānaṃ veditavyam | śeṣaṃ yathāsaṃbhavaṃ vimokṣavadā kāśānantyāyatanakṛtsnādi ||



tatra vimokṣairārambhaḥ, abhibhvāyataneḥ prayogaḥ, kṛtsnāyatanaiḥ pariniṣpattirvimokṣāṇāṃ veditavyāḥ ||



araṇā vihārī yeṣāṃ sattvānāmābhāsaṃ gantukāmo bhavati teṣāmātmani kleśa samudācāramadhikṛtyānāgatavṛttāntaṃ vihāragata eva praṇidhijñāna balenāvalokya tathā tatsamīpamupasaṃkrāmati na vā yathā te tatrānunayapratidherṣyāmātsaryā dikaṃ kleśopakleśasaraṇaṃ notpādayanti | ata idamucyate'raṇā dhyānaṃ niśritya kleśotpattyanurakṣāvihārasamṛddhāviti vistaraḥ |



praṇidhijñānaṃ tallābhī yadyadeva traiyadhvikādikajñeyavṛttāntaṃ jñātukāmobhavati, tatra tatra mānasaṃ praṇidhāyedaṃ jānīyāmiti dhyānaṃ samāpadyate, tato vyutthitasya tatpraṇidhānaṃ samṛdhyati, tajjñeyaṃ jānātītyarthaḥ ||



dharmapratisaṃvit paryāyeṣu, tadyathā'vidyādīnārabhyājñānamadarśanamanabhisamaya ityevamādiṣva vyāghātasamṛddhau yaḥ samādhiriti vistaraḥ | arthapratisaṃvitsvasāmānyalakṣaṇe dharmāṇām, arthāntarādyabhiprāye cāvyāghātasamṛddhāviti vistaraḥ | niruktipratisaṃvijjanapadabhāṣāyāmiti prativiṣayaṃ yathāsvamanyonyasaṃjñāntarānuvyavahāre, dharmanirvacane ceti tadyathā lujyate pralujyate tasmāllokaḥ, rūpyate tasmādrūpa ityevamādike | pratibhānapratisaṃviddharmaprabhedeṣviti dravyasantaḥ prajñaptisantaḥ saṃvṛtisantaḥ paramārthasanta ityevamādiṣu ||



ṛddhayabhijñā vicitraddhivikuvitasamṛddhāviti tadyathā eko bhūtvā bahudhā bhavatītyevamādau | vicitrāṇāṃ śabdānāmanuśravasamṛddhāviti divyamānuṣyakādīnām | parasattveṣu cittacarita praveśasamṛddhāviti sarāgādicittapracārayathābhūtajñānasamṛddhāvityarthaḥ | pūrvāntacaryāyā anusmaraṇasamṛddhāvityatītaṃ janmaparaṃparāmārabhya nāmajātigotrādiprakāravṛttāyā ityarthaḥ | cyutyutpādābhijñā divyena cakṣuṣā sattvānāṃ cyavamānānāmupapadyamānānāṃ suvarṇānāṃ durvarṇānāṃ sugatimapi gacchatāṃ durgati mapyaparāntamārabhya cyutyupapādasaṃdarśanasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ | āsravakṣayajñāna samṛddhāviti yenopāyenāstravāḥ parikṣoyante, yaścaiṣāṃ parikṣayastajjñānaniṣpattinimittamityarthaḥ ||



lakṣaṇānuvyañjanāni yatsamādhiprajñādhipatyena buddhā bhagavanto dvātriśatā lakṣaṇairaśītyānuvyañjanaiḥ vibhrājamānaṃ rūpakāyaṃ saṃdarśayanti vineyā nām | tatsvabhāvāni tāni teṣāṃ veditavyāni, dharmakāyaprabhāvitatvādbuddhānāṃ bhagavatāmiti | vo dhisattvānāṃ tu tathāsaṃdarśanasamarthānāṃ samādhiprajñāsvabhāvāni | tadanyeṣāṃ parṣanmaṇḍaleṣūpapannānāṃ tatsamutthitavipākasvabhāvāni veditavyāni ||



catastraḥ sarvakārāḥ pariśuddhayo buddhānāṃ bhagavatāṃ mahābhijñāprāptānāṃ ca bodhisattvānām | tatra yathākāmamāśrayasyopādāna sthānaparityāgānāṃ samṛddhāviti yatrecchati tatropapattigrahaṇataḥ, tasyāṃ copapattāvāyuḥsaṃskārānadhiṣṭhāya yāvadicchamavasthānataḥ, yadecchati tadāyuḥsaṃskārotsarjanataśca yathākramam | yathākāmamālaṃbanamadhikṛtya nirmāṇapariṇāmanajñānānāṃ samṛddhāvitya pūrvarūpādinirmāṇataḥ, pūrvotpannānāṃ rūpādīnāṃ suvarṇāditvena pariṇāmataḥ, sarvaprakārāvagamanataśca yathākramam | yathākāmaṃ samādhimukhavaśavartisamṛddhāviti pratikṣaṇaṃ yatheṣṭamaparimitasamādhyantarasamāpattaye | yathākāmaṃ dhāraṇīmukhasaṃdhāraṇasamṛddhāviti dvācatvāriṃśato'kṣarāṇāmanyatamākṣaramanasikāre tadādisarvadharmaparyāyābhilapanasāmarthyapratilambhāyetyarthaḥ ||



daśa balāni - sthānā sthānajñānabalaṃ karmasvakajñānabalaṃ dhyā navimokṣasamādhisamāpattijñānabalamindriyaparāparajñānabalaṃ nānādhimuktijñānabalaṃ nānādhātujñānabalaṃ sarvatragāminīpratipajjñāna balaṃ pūrvanivāsānusmṛtijñānabalaṃ cyutyupapādajñānabalamāsravakṣayajñānabalaṃ ca | tatra sthānāsthānajñānabalaṃ dhyāna niśritya sarvaprakārahetvahetujñānāsaṃgāpratihatasaṃmukhībhāve samādhyādayaḥ | evaṃ karmasvakajñānabalādiṣu sarvākārakarmasvakatājñānāsaṃgāpratihatasaṃmukhībhāva iti yojayitavyam ||



catvāri vaiśāradyāni - samyaksaṃbuddhasya vata me sata ime te dharmā anabhisaṃbuddhā ityatra māṃ kaścicchramaṇo vā devo vā māro vā brahmā vā sahadharmeṇa codayedvā nimittamapi na samanupaśyāmyetacca nimitta[ma] samanupaśyan kṣemaprāptaśca vaiśāradyaprāptaścodāramārṣabhaṃ sthānaṃ prajānāmi, brahmacarya pravartayāmi, pariṣadi samyak siṃhanādaṃ nadāmi | kṣoṇāsravasya vata me sata ime āstravā aparikṣīṇā iti | ye vā punarme śrāvakā[ṇā]ma ntarāyikā dharmā ākhyātāḥ tān pratiṣevamānasya nālamanta rāyāteti yo vā punarme śrāvakāṇāṃ niryāṇāya mārga ākhyāta āryonairyāṇiko nairvedhikaḥ sa vata na samyaṅniryāti tatkarasya samyagduḥ[kha] kṣayāya duḥkhasyāntakriyāyai ityatra māṃ kaścit śrama ṇo vā brāhma ṇo vā yāvatsiṃhanādaṃ nadāmoti vistareṇekaṃ kasmin vaktavyam | tānyetāni vaiśāradyāni svārtha parārtha cārabhya veditavyāni | tatra dvividhaḥ svārthaḥ - jñānaviśeṣaḥ prahāṇaviśeṣaśca | dvividhaḥ parārthaḥ - vipakṣadharmavivarjanaṃ pratipakṣadharmaniṣevaṇaṃ ca | tatrabhisaṃbodhivaiśāradyaṃ jñānātmakaṃ svārthamevārabhya sarvākāraṃ mayā saprabhedaparyantaṃ jñeyamabhisaṃbuddhamityetasyāḥ pratijñāyāḥ samyaṅniranuyojyatvena sarvasmin loke pratiṣṭhāpanasamṛddhau yaḥ samādhiriti pūrvavat | evaṃ śeṣāṇyapi vaiśāradyāni yojayitavyāni | sarvākārāḥ punarāstravāḥ savāsanāḥ kleśā draṣṭavyāḥ | sarvākārā antarāyikkā dharmāḥ sarve sāṃkleśikāḥ vipakṣadharmā draṣṭavyāḥ | sarvākāro nairyāṇiko mārgaḥ prayogamārgamārabhya yāvanniṣṭhāmārgo draṣṭavyaḥ ||



trīṇyāveṇikāni smṛtyupasthā nāni | iha śāstā śrāvakāṇāṃ dharma deśayatyanukampakaḥ kāru ṇiko'rthakāmo hitaiṣī karuṇāya mānaḥ - idaṃ vo bhikṣavo hitāya idaṃ sukhāya idaṃ hitasukhāyeti | tasya te śrāvakāḥ śuśrūṣante śrotramavadadhatyājñācittamupasthāpayanti pratipadyante dharmasyānudharmam | tatra tathāgatasya na nāndī bhavati na saumanasyaṃ na cetasa utplāvitatvamupekṣakastatra tathāgato viharati smṛtaḥ saṃprajānan | idaṃ prathamāveṇikaṃ smṛtyupasthānam | yadāryaḥ sevate yadāryaḥ sevamāno'rhati gaṇamanuśāsitum | punaraparaṃ śāstā śrāvakāṇāṃ dharma deśayati yāvadidaṃ hita sukhāya | tasya te śrāvakā na śuśrūṣante yāvanna pratipadyante dharmasyānudharmam | tatra tathāgatasya nāghāto bhavati nākṣāntirnāpratyayo na cetaso'nabhirāddhirupekṣakastatreti vistaraḥ | idaṃ dvitīyam | tṛtīye'yaṃ viśeṣaḥ - asyaike śrāvakāḥ śuśrūpante yāvatpratipadyante dharmasyānudharmameke na śuśrūṣante yāvanna pratipadyante dharmasyānudharmam | tatra tathāgatasya na nāndo bhavati yāvaccetaso nā bhirāddhiriti | etā[ni]trīṇi smṛtyupasthānāni śāsturgaṇaparikarṣaṇe yathākramaṃ sarvākārānunayapratighatadubhayasaṃkleśavāsanāyā asamudācārasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ ||



trīṇyarakṣāṇi | pariśuddhakāyasamudācārastathāgataḥ | nāsti tathā gatasyāpariśuddhakāyasamudācāratā yāṃ tathāgataḥ praticchādayitavyāṃ manyeta kaccinme pare vi[jā]nīyuriti | evaṃ vāṅmanaḥsamudācārate veditavye | ebhirnirvaktavyatayā nirāśaṅkatvātsvayaṃ śāstuvineyajanaparikarṣaṇamārabhya yatheṣṭaṃ nigṛhya prasajyāvavādānuśāsanīprayogaḥ samṛddhayatīti veditavyam ||



asaṃmoṣadharmatā sarvavineyakāryamārabhya yathāvatkṛtasya bhāṣitasya cābhilapanasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ ||



vāsanāsamudghātaḥ sarvajñasya sataḥ kleśajñeyāvaraṇaśeṣasūcakānāṃ kāyavākceṣṭitānāmasamudācārasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ ||



mahākaruṇā traidhātukāvacareṣu sarvasattveṣu nirantara sarvaprakāraduḥkhālaṃbana karuṇāvihārasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ ||



aṣṭādaśāveṇikā buddhadharmāstadyathā nāsti tathāgatasya skhalitam, nāsti ravitam, nāsti muṣitā smṛtiḥ, nāstyasamāhitaṃ cittam, nāsti nānātvasaṃjñā, nāstya pratisaṃkhyāyopekṣā, nāsti chandapa rihāṇiḥ, nāsti vīryaparihāṇiḥ, nāsti smṛtiparihāṇiḥ, nāsti samādhiparihāṇiḥ, nāsti prajñārihāṇiḥ, nāsti vimuktiparihāṇiḥ, sarvatathāgatasya kāyakarma jñānapūrvagamaṃ jñānānuparivarti, sarva vākkarma jñānapūrvagamaṃ jñānānuparivarti, sarva manaskarma jñānapūrvagamaṃ jñānānuparivarti, atīte'dhvanyasaṅgamapratihataṃ jñānam, anāgate'dhvanyasaṅgamapratihataṃ jñānam, pratyutpanne'dhvanyasaṅgamapratihataṃ jñānamiti ||



eṣāṃ punarvyavasthānam, tadyathā arhan bhikṣuḥ kṣīṇāsravaḥ grāmaṃ piṇḍāya carannekadā caṇḍena hastinā sārgha samāgacchati | yathā caṇḍena hastinevaṃ caṇḍanāśvena, canḍayā gavā, caṇḍena kukkureṇa | gahanaṃ vā kaṇṭakabāṭaṃ vā mṛdnāti | alagarda vā padābhyāṃ samākrāmati | tadrūpaṃ vā'gāraṃ praviśati yatrainaṃ mātṛgrāmo'yogavihitenopanimantrayati | araṇye vā punamārga hitvā kumārgeṇa gacchati | corairvā taskarairvā sārdha samāgacchati siṃhairvyāghrairvāpa ravṛkairvā ityevaṃ bhāgīyaṃ skhalitamarhatastathāgatasya sarveṇa sarva nāsti | punarayamarhanne kadā'raṇye pravaṇe'nvāhiṇḍanmārgādapanaśya śūnyāgāraṃ praviśya śabdamudīrayati, ghoṣamanuśrāvayati , mahārutaṃ ravati | vāsanā doṣaṃ vā''gamya kliṣṭaṃ mahāhāsaṃ hasati, dantavidarśakaṃ saṃcagdhitamupadarśayati | ityevaṃbhāgīyamarhato ravitaṃ tathāgatasya sarveṇa sarva nāsti | nāsti tathāgatasya muṣitā smṛtirakliṣṭacirakṛtacirabhāṣi tānusmaraṇatāmuṣādāya | punaraparamarhan samāpannaḥ samāhito bhavati vyutthito'samāhitaḥ | tathāgatasya tu sarvāvasthaṃ nāstyasamāhitaṃ cittam | punaraparamarhannekāntenopadhā ca pratikramaṇasaṃjñī bhavati nirupadhike ca nirvāṇe śāntasaṃjñī | tathāgatasya upadhau nirvāṇe ca nānātvasaṃjñā nāsti, paramopekṣāvihāritāmupādāya | punaraparamarhannapratisaṃkhyāya sattvārthakriyāmadhyupekṣate | tathāgatasya tviyamevaṃbhāgīyā'pratisaṃkhyāyopekṣā nāsti | punaraparamarhan jñeyāvaraṇaviśuddhimārabhyāprāptaparihāṇyā chandenā pi parihīyate vīrye ṇāpismṛtyā samādhinā prajñayā vimuktyā vimuktijñānadarśanenā pi parihīyate | itīyaṃ saptākārā parihāṇistathāgatasya nāsti | punaraparamarhannekadā kuśale kāyakarmaṇi pravartate, ekadā'vyākṛte | yathā kāyakarmaṇyevaṃ vākkarmaṇi manaskarmaṇi ca | tathāgatasya trayāṇāmapi karmaṇāṃ jñāna pūrvagamatvājjñānānuparivartitvācca nāstyavyākṛtaṃ karma tatra jñānasamutthāpanatāmupādāya jñānapūrvagamam | jñānasahacaratāmupādāya jñānānuparivarti | punaraparamarhan traiyadhvikaṃ jñeyavastu na cābhogamātrātpratipadyate yenāsya saktaṃ jñānadarśanaṃ bhavati | na ca sarva pratipadyate yenāsya pratihataṃ jñānadarśanaṃ bhavati | tathāgatastraiyadhvikamābhogamātrāt sarva vastu pratipadyate | tasmādete aṣṭādaśāveṇikā buddhadharmā ityucyante | tatraiṣāmādyāḥ ṣaṭ asādhāraṇakāyavāṅmanaskarmapariśuddhisamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ | tatra nāsti skhalitamityayaṃ kāyakarmapariśuddhimārabhya | nāsti ravitamityayaṃ vākkarmaparaśuddhimārabhya | tatra nāsti muṣitasmṛtiḥ nāstyasamānitaṃ cittaṃ nāsti nānātvasaṃjñā nāstyapratisaṃkhyāyopekṣetyetaccatuṣṭayaṃ manaskarmapariśuddhimadhikṛtya veditavyam | nāsti chandaparihāṇiryāvannāsti vimuktijñānadarśanaparihāṇiriti sāśrayāṇāṃ saphalānāṃ tathāgatendriyāṇāmaprāptyaparihāṇisamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ | tatrāśrayaśchandaḥ | phalaṃ vimuktirvimuktijñānadarśanaṃ ca | indriyāṇi vīryādīni veditavyāni | sarva kāyakarma vākkarma manaskarma jñānapūrvagamaṃ jñānānuvartītyete trayo'sādhāraṇakarmacārasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ | atīte 'dhvanyasaṅgamapratihataṃ jñānaṃ yāvatpratyutpanne'dhvanītyete trayo'sādhāraṇajñānavihārasamṛddhau samādhyādayaḥ ||



skandhadhātvāyataneṣu sarvākārajñatāsamṛddhāviti skandhādīnāṃ svabhāvaviśeṣalakṣaṇaprabhedaparyantajñānaniṣpattāvityarthaḥ ||



teṣāṃ punarabhinirhāro niśrayato 'bhinirhārakapudgalato'bhinirhāropāyataśca paridīpitaḥ | abhinirhāropāyaḥ punaryathāvyavasthānaṃ manaskārabahulīkāratā yathādeśanaṃ samāhitasya cittasya punaḥpunastatra dhāraṇamityarthaḥ | tadyathā'pramāṇānyabhinirhartukāmo maṃtrīsahagatena cittenāvaireṇāsapatnenetyevamādikāṃ deśanāṃ dhyānasaṃniśrayeṇa bhāvayan manasikurvan bahulīkaroti, evamabhijñādīnabhi nirhartukāma eko bhūtvā bahudhā bhavatītyevamādikaṃ vyavasthānaṃ manasikurvan bahulīkarotīti yojayitavyam ||



ta ete'pramāṇādayo guṇā dviprakārāḥ | svakāritrapratyupasthānāśca yairāryo yathāyogaṃ vipakṣaprahāṇādikaṃ karma karoti, vaihārikāśca yaiḥ paramapraśāntanirvikalpajñānasaṃgṛhītairanālaṃbanāpramāṇādibhirdṛṣṭe dharme sukhaṃ viharati ||



tatrāpramāṇaivipakṣaṃ prajahātīti yathākramaṃ vyāpādaṃ vihiṃsāmaratimanunayapratighau ca | etāni ca catvāryapramāṇānyanukampetyucyate, ebhiḥ sattvārtha pratyanuguṇaṃ pravartanāt | atastairviharamāṇaḥ sarvasattveṣvanukampāvihāritayā puṇyasaṃbhāraṃ paripūrayati | ata eva sattvaparipāke ca na parikhidya te , sarvasattvānukampitvena svātmanirapekṣatvāt ||



vimokṣeṣu dvābhyāṃ vimokṣābhyāṃ nirmāṇakarmābhinirharati | tṛtīyena śubhe nirmāṇe na saṃkliśyate | catubhirārya vimokṣaiḥ śānteṣu mokṣeṣu na sajjate | praścimena paramapraśāntenāryavihāreṇa viharati | tathā tathā'dhimokṣārthaśca vimokṣo veditavyaḥ ||



abhibhvāyatanādīnāṃ karma pūrvavat tannirdeśānusāreṇaiva yojayitavyam ||



araṇāyā ādeyavacano bhavati, paracittānurakṣaṇapradhānatayā yathānurūpaṃ vacanāt ||



praṇidhijñānena bahumataśca bhavati lokasya, sarva jānātīti gauravitatvāt ||



pratisaṃvidbhi rdeśanayā sattvacittāni saṃtoṣayati, bahuvicitraiḥ prakāraiḥ saṃśayacchedanāt ||



ṛddhidivyaśrotraparacittajñānapūrvenivāsacyutyupapādāsravakṣayābhijñābhiryathākramaṃ kāyakarmādinā śāsane āvarjayati | divyaśrotrābhijñayā sarvarutaprakārābhyupapattito vākkarmaṇā''varjanaṃ veditavyam ||



āśrayapariśuddhayā yathākāmamāśrayasyopādānasthāna parityāgānadhikṛtya saṃcintya bhavopapattiparigrahaṇādīni trīṇi veditavyāni | ālaṃbanapariśuddhayā dharmavaśavartī bhavati, cittapariśuddhayā samādhivaśavartī, jñānapariśuddhayā saddharma dhārayati ||



baleṣu dvābhyāṃ balābhyāmabhyudayamārga deśayati śeṣairniḥśreyasamārgame tāvacca buddhānāṃ bhagavatāṃ karaṇīyam | tatra sthānāsthānajñānabalena bhagavannirhe tuko'bhyudayaḥ prakṛtīśvarādihetuko vetye vamahetuviṣamahetuvādaṃ pratikṣipati | karmasvakatājñānabalena svayamakṛtamapi karmāgacchatītyevamakṛtābhyāgamavādaṃ pratikṣipati, yataḥ samyagaviparītaṃ sugatimārga deśayati | dhyānavimokṣasamādhisamāpattijñānabalena sattvānāṃ cittacaritāni cetaḥ pracarānanupraviśati | indriyaparāparajñānabalena deśanābhājanatāṃ śraddhādīndriyaparipākamanupraviśati | nānādhimuktijñānabalenāśayaṃ hīnapraṇītādhimuktikatāmanupraviśati | nānādhātujñānabalenānuśayasamudghātanaśakyakleśatāmanupraviśati | sarvatragāminīpratipajjñānabalenālaṃbanaṃ śrāvakayānaṃ mahāyānaṃ vā deśanādharma saṃgṛhītadharma manupraviśati | pūrvenivāsānusmṛtijñānabalena saṃbhāraṃ pūrvajanma samudāyagatamāryamārgahetumanupraviśati || cyutyupapādajñānabalena bhavyatā māyatyāmanupraviśati | āsravakṣayajñānabalena niḥsaraṇaṃ ca sarvasmāttraidhātukāda nupraviśati yato yathāvanmokṣamārga deśayati ||



balatvaṃ punareṣāmebhiḥ skandhakleśadevaputramaraṇamāranigrahaṇaviśeṣāt | viśeṣaḥ punarjñeyāvaraṇaprahāṇe'pyanantarāyakṛtatvāt , sthānāsthāne yāvadāsravakṣaya iti sarvatra praśnaṃ pṛṣṭasya praśnavyākaraṇavyāghātācca ||



vaiśāradyaiḥ pariṣadi samyagātmanaḥ śāstṛtvamātmaparahitapratipannatvaṃ vyavasthāpayati | codakāṃścābhisaṃbodhau yāvanmārge tīrthyān sahadharmeṇa nigṛhṇāti ||



smṛtyupasthānairasaṃkliṣṭo gaṇaṃ parikarṣati, śūśrūṣamāṇādiṣvanunayādisaṃkleśābhāvāt ||



arakṣyainirantaraṃ gaṇamavavadati samanuśāsti, svadoṣāvirbhāvanā śaṃkayānurakṣyābhāvāt ||



asaṃmoṣadharma tayā buddhakṛtyaṃ na hāpayati, upasthite sattvārthakṛtye pramādena kṣaṇamapyalaṃghanāt ||



vāsanāsa mudghātena niḥkleśaḥ kleśapratirūpāṃ ceṣṭāṃ na darśayati yathā'rhan bhikṣuḥ skhalitādikaṃ darśayati ||



mahākaruṇayā ṣaṭkṛtvā rātriṃdivasena lokaṃ vyavalokayati, ko hīyate kaḥ parihīyata ityevamādibhiḥ prakāraiḥ pratyavekṣaṇāt ||



āveṇikānāṃ buddhadharmāṇāṃ karmāsādhāraṇakāyavāṅmanaskarmapariśuddhisamṛddhāvityevamādilakṣaṇanirdeśādhikāreṇa yojayitavyam ||



sarvakārajñatayā sarvasattvānāṃ sarvasaṃśayān chinatti, sarvatrāvyāhatajñānatvāt | dharmanetrīṃ ca dīrghakālamavasthāpayati, tatra tatra vineyasaṃśayacchedanārtha deśitānāṃ dharmaparyāyāṇāṃ saṃgītikārairanukrameṇa saṃjñāpanāt | dharmanetrīṃ nistrityā paripakvāḥ sattvāḥ paripacyante paripakvāśca vimucyante ||



viśiṣṭamārga lābhe hīnamārgavihānistadyathā phalasaṃgṛhītamārgalābhe pratipannakamārgo vihīna ityucyate, punarasaṃmukhīkaraṇāt | sakalaprahāṇaṃ ca sā kṣātkaroti phalaprāptikāle tu tadvipakṣajātīyakleśapratipakṣa dauṣṭhulyāśeṣaprahāṇādāśrayaparivṛttiviśeṣalābhataḥ samavasargavihānyā vijahātī[tya] tyantāsamudācāraṃ vijahā[tī]tyarthaḥ | no tu bodhisattvastathā vijahāti, sarvasattva parinirvāṇābhiprāyapūrvakatvāttanmārgasya | ata eva bodhisattvā akṣayakuśalamūlā akṣayaguṇā ityucyante tadyathā'kṣamiti[sūtre]'kṣayatānirdiṣṭeti ||



śāśvato loka aśāśvata ityevamādiṣu praśneṣvavyākṛtavastuvyavasthānamanarthopasaṃhitatvenāyoniśatvāt | teṣāṃ teṣāṃ praśnānāṃ kīdṛśaḥ punaḥ praśno 'rthopasaṃhitaḥ | tadyathā catvāryāryasatyānyā rabhya yaḥ praśnaḥ | tathāhi sahetuphala saṃkleśavyavadānacintāntarbhūta iti ||



bodhisattvasya nyāmāvakrāntāvapi śrotāpannatvāvyavasthānam, apratiṣṭhitamārgapratilambhāt pratiśrotaḥ pratipattyapariniṣpannatāmupādāya ||



jñeyaṃ ṣaḍvidhaṃ - bhrāntiryāvadabhrāntiniṣyandaśca | tatra bhrāntirgrāhyagrāhakābhiniveśaḥ | bhrāntyāśrayo yasminnāryajñā nagocare saṃskāranimittamātre'bhūtaparikalpātmake sati bālānāṃ so'bhiniveśaḥ pravartate | abhrāntyāśrayastathatā, nirvikalpasya jñānasya tadadhiṣṭhānatvāt | bhrāntyabhrāntilokottarajñānānukūlāḥ śrutamayyā dayaḥ kuśalā dharmāḥ, jñeyavikalpanānni rvikalpajñānānukūlyācca | abhrāntirnirvikalpajñānam | abhrāntiniṣyanda āryamārgapṛṣṭhalabdhāḥ kuśalā dharmāḥ ||



upāyakauśalyaṃ punaścaturvidham | sattvaparipākakauśalyaṃ catvāri saṃgrahavastūni, taiḥ saṃgṛhya kuśaleṣu dharmeṣu niyojanāt | buddhadharmaparipūraṇakauśalyaṃ prajñāpāramitā, dānapāramitāṃ yāvat sarvākāravarajñatāṃ paripūrayitukāmena bodhisattvena mahāsattvenāsyāmeva prajñāpāramitāyāṃ śikṣitavyamiti vacanāt | kṣiprābhijñatākauśalyaṃ ṣaṭkṛtvā rātridivasaṃ pāpapratideśanā puṇyānumodanā buddhādhyeṣaṇā kuśalamūlapariṇāmanā ca yathākra[ma]māryamaitreyaparipṛcchāyām | dharmānupacchedakauśalyaṃ cāpratiṣṭhitanirvāṇatayā punaḥpanaranupa ratamatyantaṃ ca samantāllokadhātuṣu yathāvineyaṃ buddhabodhisattvacaryāsaṃdarśanāditi ||



abhūtaparikalpo daśavidhaḥ | tatra mūlavikalpa ālayavijñānam, sarvavikalpānāṃ vījabhūtatvāt | nimittavikalpo dehapratiṣṭhā''bhogapratibhāsā vijñaptayaḥ, grāhyanimittabhūtatvāt | tāḥ punaryathākramaṃ rūpīndriya bhājanalokarūpādiviṣayalakṣaṇā draṣṭavyāḥ | nimittapratibhāsasya vikalpaḥ ṣaḍvijñānakāyāḥ manaśca, yathoktagrāhyanimittākāratvāt | nimittavikāravikalpo yathoktadehādinimittasyānyathātvenotpādaḥ | nimittapratibhāsavikāra vikalpo yathoktasya cakṣarvijñānādinimittapratibhāsasya sukhādyavasthāntareṇotpādaḥ | paropanīto vikalpo deśanāsaṃgṛhītanāmapadavyañjanakāyalakṣaṇaḥ | sa punardvividhaḥ - durākhyātadharmavinayātmakaḥ svākhyādharmavinayātmakaśca | atastadadhipateyamanaskārasaṃgṛhītau yathākramaṃ yoniśovikalpo 'yoniśovikalpaśca veditavyaḥ | abhiniveśavikalpo'yoniśo vikalpādvā vaṣṭidṛṣṭigatasaṃgṛhīto yo vikalpaḥ | vi kṣepavikalpaḥ yoniśo vikalpādabhāvādigrāhalakṣaṇo yo vikalpaḥ ||



sa punardaśavidhaḥ - abhāvavikalpaḥ yāvadyathārthanāmavikalpaśca | sa eṣa daśavidho vikalpaḥ prajñāpāramitā''dinirdeśamadhikṛtya veditavyaḥ | yathoktam iha śāriputra bodhisattvo bodhisattva eva san bodhisattvaṃ na samanupaśyati | bodhisattvanāma na samanupaśyati | prajñāpāramitāṃ na samanupaśyati | bodhi na samanupaśyati | caratīti na samanupaśyati | na caratīti na samanupaśyati | tathāhi nāma svabhāvena śūnyaṃ na śūnyatayā, rūpaṃ svabhāvena śūnyaṃ na śūnyatayā yāvadvijñānaṃ svabhāvena śūnyaṃ na śūnyatayā | tatkasya hetoḥ | yā rūpasya śūnyatā na tadrūpam, nāpyanyatra, rūpācchanyatā, rūpameva śūnyatāḥ, śūnyataiva rūpam, evaṃ yāvadvijñānam | tatkasya hetoḥ | nāmamātramidaṃ yaduta bodhisattvanāmeti bodhisattva iti prajñāpāramiteti bodhiriti rūpamiti yāvadvijñānamiti | svabhāvasya hi notpādo na nirodho na saṃkleśo na vyavadānam | prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caran bodhisattva utpādamapi na samanupaśyati yāvadvayavadānamapi na samanupaśyati | tatkasya hetoḥ | kṛtrimaṃ nāma prati prati te dharmāḥ kalpitā āgantukena nāmnā'nuvyavahriyante | [yathā yathā'nuvyavahriyante] tathā tathābhiniviśanti | tāni bodhisattvaḥ sarvanāmāni na samanupaśyati , asamanupaśyannābhiniviśate | tatra abhāvavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - bodhisattvo bodhisattva eva sannityevamādi, sacchabdasya bhāvārthatvāt | bhāvavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - bodhisattvaṃ na samanupaśyati yāvadvayavadānamapi na samanupaśyati yāvanna caratīti na samanupaśyati pudgaladharmabhāvapratiṣedhāt | samāropavikalpapratipakṣeṇāhatathāhi nāma svabhāvena śanyamiti, abhūtaparikalpasya svabhāvapratiṣedhāt | apavādavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - na śūnyatayeti, tasminnāmni tena parikalpitena parikalpita svabhāvena virahitatāyāḥ sarvadāstitvāt | ekatvavikalpaprati pakṣaiṇāha - yā rūpasya śūnyatā na tadrūpaṃ yāvadvijñānamiti , bhāvāntaratvāt | rūpādayo hi parikalpitaḥ svabhāvaḥ śūnyatā pariniṣpanna iti | pṛthakatva vikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - nāpyanyatra rūpācchūnyatāyā rūpam, yāvacchanyataiva vijñānamiti, parikalpitasvabhāvasyā lakṣaṇatvāttadvyatirekeṇa tadbhā vāsaṃbhavataḥ | svabhāvavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - nāmamātramidaṃ yaduta rūpamiti yāvadvijñānamiti, abhilāpavyatirekeṇābhilāpyasvabhāvābhāvāt | viśeṣavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha -svabhāvasya notpādo yāvadvayavadānamapi na samanupaśyatīti, utpādādiviśeṣalakṣaṇapratiṣedhāt | yathānāmārthavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - kṛtrimaṃ nāma prati prati te dharmāḥ kalpitā āgantukena nāmnā vyavahriyante ityevamādi | yathārthanāmavikalpapratipakṣeṇāha - tāni bodhisattvaḥ sarvanāmāni na samanu paśyannābhiniviśata iti , yathārtha nāmnāmadarśanā[na]bhiniveśāt ||



nirvikalpanāt tridhā saṃtuṣṭinirvikalpanādi bhiḥ | tatra pṛthagjanā yadi [a] nityatādikāṃ kāṃcidevadharmatāmārabhya cittaparyavasānaṃ nītvā labdhaparitoṣā bhavantyeva metaditi niścinvantaḥ sā teṣāṃ saṃtuṣṭinirvikalpatetyucyate, tatra sarvatarkākhyavikalpopara teḥ | śrāvakāḥ skandheṣu nityā diviparyāsapratipakṣeṇa yathāvadrūpādikaṃ dharmadhātuṃ parīkṣamāṇā lokottareṇa jñānena nairātmyaṃ pratividhyantyataḥ sā teṣāmaviparyāsanirvikalpatetyucyate | bodhisattvāstadapi rūpādidharmamātraṃ prapañca iti viditvā sarvadharmanimittāni vibhāvayantaḥ paramaśāntena lokottareṇa jñānena sarvatragāṃ tathatāṃ pratividhyantyataḥ sā teṣāṃ niṣprapañcanirvikalpatetyucyate | kathaṃ punarasau niṣprapañcanirvikalpatetyucyate | yadyamanaskāratastena suptamattādīnāṃ nirvikalpatāprasaṅgaḥ, teṣāṃ dharmanimittāmanaskārāt | atha samatikramatastena dvitīyadhyānāt prabhṛti sarvatra nirvikalpatā prāpnoti, [vi] tarkavicāravikalpānāṃ samatikramāt, tataśca vikalpasya śarīraṃ hi cittacaittāḥ traidhātukā ityasya virodhaḥ | atha vyupaśamatastena saṃjñāveditanirodhasamāpattirnivikalpatā prāpnoti, tatra cittacaitavikalpavyupaśamāt, tataśca jñānābhāvaḥ prasajyate | atha svabhāvatastena rūpaṃ nirvikalpatā prāpnoti, tasyāvikalpasvabhāvatvāt | athālaṃbane'bhisaṃskāra stena savikalpataiva nirvikalpatā prāpnoti, nirvikalpametadityetasyābhisaṃskārasya nimittavikalpalakṣaṇatvāt | tasmānnaibhiḥ prakāraiḥ nirvikalpatā draṣṭavyā | api tvālaṃbane'nabhisaṃskāratādraṣṭavyā | kathaṃ kṛtvā | yadā hyasya bodhisattvasyānulomikamavavādamāgamya prakṛtyā sarvadharmanimittānyapariniṣpannānīti vicārayatastadvicāraṇābhyāsabalādhānāt pratyātmamanabhisaṃskāreṇaiva yathāvanniṣprapañcadhātau sarvadharmata thatāyāṃ cittaṃ samādhīyate sā'sāvucyate niṣprapañca nirvikalpateti ||



prakṛtyā tīkṣṇendriyo bodhisattva ityuktaṃ prākkathaṃ tena kālena kālamindriyāṇyutāpayitavyānītyucyate | svajātīyānāṃ mṛdvāditraividhyāduttarottarābhinirhāratastaduttāpa naṃ veditavyam | anyathā tīkṣṇendriyagotrāṇāmindriyāṇāmaikavidhye sati bodhisattvānāmindriyakṛto viśeṣo naivopalabhyate | sa copalabhyata iti ||
